Income Graph API
Read, create, update and delete your Income Graph Cloud graphs, and get their computed results, from code or from an AI assistant.
Income Graph Cloud subscribers get a REST API and an MCP server for the graphs they save to the cloud, plus the same revenue, fee and profit arithmetic the website uses. Both are included in the Cloud plan ($4.99/month, or $49.90/year with two months free).
Endpoints
| REST API | https://api.incomegraph.net/v1/... |
| MCP server | https://mcp.incomegraph.net/mcp |
| OpenAPI spec | /developers/spec/openapi.yaml |
These are the official, generally available endpoints. The earlier amazonaws.com address keeps working, so existing keys and MCP configurations need no change, but new integrations should use the addresses above.
What the API covers
| You can | Endpoint |
|---|---|
| Check that a key works and see its limits | GET /v1/me |
| List your cloud graphs | GET /v1/graphs |
| Read one graph and its sources | GET /v1/graphs/{graphId} |
| Get computed revenue, fees, profit and goal progress | GET /v1/graphs/{graphId}/summary |
| Run the calculator on a source tree without saving it | POST /v1/calculations |
| Create a graph (needs a read-write key) | POST /v1/graphs |
| Rename a graph, change its goals or replace its sources (read-write key) | PATCH /v1/graphs/{graphId} |
| Delete a graph (read-write key) | DELETE /v1/graphs/{graphId} |
Writes are opt-in: a key is read-only unless you choose Read and write when you create it. Changes show up in the web app the next time it syncs, and an edit made in the app is never overwritten silently: updates and deletes must quote the graph’s current updatedAt.
What it does not cover
- Graphs that only exist in your browser. Free-plan graphs live in localStorage, so there is nothing for the API to read. Open the app while signed in to a Cloud plan and they sync to your account.
- Fine-grained edits.
updateGraphreplaces a graph’s whole source list; there are no per-source endpoints yet. Read the graph, change what you need, and send the list back. - Undo. A deleted graph is gone. The delete response contains the whole graph, so you can recreate it, but it gets a new id.
Access and limits
An API key works only while its owner has an active (or trialing) subscription. Cancelled, past-due and free accounts get a 403 and no data, for writes as for reads. Each key may make 60 requests a minute and 5,000 a day, of which 20 a minute may be writes. Details are in Errors and rate limits.
